This is really a neat lil game! I had almost the same idea when developing my own... but I love this completely different art style!

A few notes:

When the player is still on one of those vertically moving platforms, while moving up the player's sprite glitches out.
Love the way the game screen is warped at the edges, creates that CRT-TV effect that really works with the game's aesthetic!
Great soundtrack too! Sounds like electronic-traditional Japanese

Level 4 can be cheesed if you jump at the time in the goal animation it's lowest

I took the key from the first one that has one and unlocked the door in the first level. Was I supposed to do that?

no but that's supposed to happen 2 levels later
